Dear Saint Robert Bellarmine Families,
As a second grade teacher one of my favorite lessons was when I would teach about this Great Commandment. This Sunday, our Gospel reading tells the story of when Jesus gave the disciples the Great Commandment. We are reminded to love the Lord, our God, with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our mind and to love our neighbor as ourselves. You can ask my former students if they remember the hand motions we used to use to remember this commandment. Sometimes it is difficult to love ourselves the way God loves us. Encourage your child to share something positive about themselves and others.
Many thanks to the parents who helped plan, set up, work, and clean up the Walk-a-Thon last week. A special thank you to Mrs. Quadros for her leadership. Our crossing guards were especially helpful and diligent this year. Thank you! The event was a success due to your assistance.
Just a reminder to parents that any time you are volunteering on campus to follow the safety rules taught during our Virtus Training courses. Please do not pick up any child that is not your own unless it is for the safety of the child. Thank you for your cooperation in order to keep all our students safe.
