Dear Saint Robert Bellarmine Families,
As we enter Lent, let us be reminded of this time of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. Tomorrow we will have a day of service with our students focusing on serving the poor. An email was sent last week regarding this activity. We will make bags to distribute to the poor and homeless. The list below is a suggested amount to bring of each item. If you didn’t bring your items in today, please bring them tomorrow. This is a great opportunity for our students to put together bags and perform an act of service.

TK- 3-pack travel size tissues
1st- 6-pack small water bottles
3rd- 2/3 individually packed toothbrush 5th- 1 box of granola bars
7th- 2/3 travel size toothpaste
K- 2/3 travel size toothpaste 2nd- 3-pack travel size tissues 4th- 1 box of fruit roll-ups 6th- 1 box of granola bars 8th- 2/3 individually packed toothbrush

In two weeks we will celebrate Read Across America Week in conjunction with Dr. Seuss’s birthday. We will be celebrating in several ways. We will have some fun free dress days (look for the flyer today) and activities, a Read-a-Thon, and a used book sale. If you have any used books you would like to donate, please send them in next week. Our Read-a-Thon will kick off on the 27th. More information will go out next week. It is a very easy and fun fundraiser. I think the students will enjoy the fun activities we have planned for them.

Many Blessings,
Annette Riggio
