Dear Saint Robert Bellarmine Families,
“Unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains just a grain of wheat; but if it dies, it produces much fruit.” This is the message we will hear in this week’s Gospel. There are many cases in nature where we see that the ending of one life, begins another. Lent is a great time to let things die in our life that are not helping us grow.
We have some exciting things to celebrate at SRB. Our Academic Decathlon team competed this past weekend against 105 schools in the Archdiocese. The students prepared for many months and worked very hard to be able to compete. Mr. Pavalon and I are very proud of their hard work and dedication to the team. I also want to recognize David P., who while preparing for Decathlon also represented SRB in the regional Spelling Bee last week. He placed 40th overall. Great job, David!
A special thank you to Mrs. Kuklish for organizing our Mother Son Paint Event this past weekend. It is great that our moms and their sons had an opportunity to do something fun and special together.
This is a reminder that your Intent to Return forms are due April 30th before the Registration Fee goes up. FACTS accounts will not be charged until then even if you send in your form now. Sending in your form early helps us to plan activities for next year. We have some exciting things in the works and I can’t wait to finalize plans and let you know. If any of you know of anyone in the construction/maintenance business who would like to donate their time to help us with some of our renovations, please let me know.
